Modelling-101 workshops

You'll probably have a practise with your hair dresser, you'll have numerous dress fittings, you'll walk the hallway in your new shoes, you'll even run through the ceremony with your celebrant – but what about your very precious photos? How will your rehearse for those?

Do you want to feel both comfortable and confident in front of the camera on your wedding day? Then this very practical session is for you!

Bring your man or come alone. You can even invite your bridesmaids to sit in and watch too if you like (bring a bottle of bubbly and make it a chicks night out!).

With my camera tethered to the laptop, I'll show you the subtleties of enhancing your look. You'll see the results immediately on the screen and together we'll analyse your pictures. Learn how to create great looking shots in a way that no one knows you're actually posing for the camera.

This isn't 'posing for Vogue'.

It's about real people looking their best and feeling confident.

Topics covered include: standing tall, hands and feet, dealing with chins, holding your bouquet, isle walking and more!

Photographic Tutor

I'm passionate about photography and I'd love to share what I know to help you in your own photographic journey. I'll tailor the topics and activities to suit where you're at. Chose from subjects such as: composition, focus, focal length, shutter speed, aperture, using light, portraits, landscapes, night photography, abstracts, finding the decisive moment, producing stunning Black & Whites, using post production software Lightroom, and much more.

I make these sessions very hands on: We'll sit at my kitchen table and fully discuss a topic, then we'll shoot some images, and finally we'll analyse them to ensure you're on track.

Whilst this tutoring is ideally aimed at those with SLR cameras, I'm also open to working with you to get the best from your point-and-shoot camera.

Maximum of two people (so bring a friend and share the cost!)

½ day (3 hours): $225 for one person $300 for two

Full day (7 hours): $450 for one person $550 for two includes morning tea and lunch

Sole Copyright of Images:

all my packages include a copy of your images and rights to copy for personal purposes. However it's industry standard for the photographer to retain ultimate copyright of your images, including rights to publish them, use them in web-based advertising, or in competitions. While I respect the private nature of many of your images, and while I would never publish anything that would embarrass you, I appreciate that some people wish to keep all of their images private. If you would like to purchase the copyright to your images so that I can't use your images in any way, the fee is $200. Please note that with this option, I will delete all copies from my records and drives, so it will be essential that you take excellent care of your discs.

All my packages include a disc of print-ready images and rights to copy for personal purposes (or business purposes for commercial clients), so you're welcome to create your own wonderful products and crafts with them.

However, if you find that difficult, time consuming, or you want to tap into my software and expertise, the following products are available:

Montages

a wonderful collection of your choice of images, purposefully placed on one page, and printed on photographic paper. Text can be added to create a title, add detail, or write words of meaning such as poetry. These look simply amazing framed on your wall.

Audio Visual Slideshows

a funky slideshow showing highlights of your occasion, set to royalty-paid music. You can send me your own royalty-paid music if you have a particular special song you'd like used or I'll choose one of mine to suit. AV's play on your TV DVD payer, run for around 3-5 minutes (the length of the song used), and are a wonderful way to relive your special day!
